Manual Test Equipment + Robot Integration Case

This system was demonstrated at the 2025 Kyoritsu Electric Group Exhibition, showcasing automated work handling through robotic integration for manual test equipment.

Traditionally, operators manually set workpieces on Focus‑series in‑circuit testers, but this system automates both loading and unloading using collaborative robots. After the workpiece is set, the Focus tester receives an external signal to press down, make contact, and perform the in‑circuit test. When test is complete, a signal from the Focus instructs the robot to remove the workpiece.

Robot integration is handled in collaboration with the Robot Division of the Kyoritsu Electric Group. Similar test‑plus‑robot automation systems have already been deployed, and the Group can provide complete turnkey solutions.

In practical implementations, robots can pick up workpieces from the staging area [D], load them into in‑circuit testers [A] and [B], then remove the tested workpieces and return them to [D].

We evaluate and propose the optimal system configuration based on your workpieces and test requirements through coordinated support within the Kyoritsu Electric Group. Please feel free to consult us even if you do not yet have a concrete plan.
